When we make the decision to change, or implement a new schedule, or start something new - it's exciting, right? Sure.... at first...
But, sometimes this fades (very common with New Year Resolutions) - a bad day at work, a car accident, a fight/argument - the list goes on. There's always an excuse if you are looking for one. Let's call these Mental Setbacks. (Yes, something terrible probably happened, but do you really want to blame your lack of success on an event that is out of your control???)
So how do we overcome these Mental Setbacks. How do we prevent ourselves from being sidetracked by daily events?
We need to develop a plan. Yes, we need to PLAN for these things in advance.
We will work together to set up your defenses and planned responses to current and future Mental Setbacks. In order to succeed, we must have a daily schedule and plan of action. We will develop a plan and a schedule that works best for you.
